Yes! It is always possible to arrange a pickup at your hotel/accomodation, between 9:00~9:30 approximately. In the Funchal area the pickup is free. (For pickups outside Funchal, please contact us for our best quote).
None of our tours prices include lunch. We do however, have arrangements with local restaurants where, through reservation on the day of the activity with our driver, is possible to have a full menu meal for around 25€.
Our Land Rovers can carry 6 passengers plus the driver.
We always advise our clients to take clothing suitable for the season. We do however alert that, due to the island micro-climates, you should always carry a windcutter jacket.
Our full day tours are approximately 8 hours long. Half day tours are 4 hours long.
All our tours on schedule are shared with at most 6 passengers. It is however, possible to schedule a private tour in any dar of the week (under inquiry).
Of course! We do however kindly ask that you inform us when you book. This way we can arrange to have the proper seats on the day of the tour.
We roll rain or shine! Madeira is famous for its micro-climates, so if it's pouring on one side of the mountain, it’s usually sunny just a short drive away. Plus, we can close up the jeeps in seconds, so a little mud only adds to the fun.
Honestly, we wouldn't recommend it. We love getting off the smooth asphalt and onto genuine, bumpy forest tracks, which means the ride gets pretty shaky. Your safety and comfort always come first.
You bet. If you book a private or VIP day, you call the shots. Want to stay longer at a killer viewpoint or skip a stop for a relaxed lunch? Just tell your guide and we’ll make it happen.
Not at all. We let the 4x4 do all the heavy lifting to get you right up to the best secret spots. There are plenty of stops to stretch your legs, take photos, and look around, but no heavy trekking required.
As soon as you know your dates! We keep our shared tours small, so we can keep things friendly and personal. Because of that, the seats tend to fill up fast, especially in the summer.
