From there, the Discovery truly stretches its legs, tackling exclusive off-road trails that cut straight into the mystical, fog-shrouded Fanal forest where centuries-old trees stand like something out of a fairy tale. We then descend the sheer northern cliffs for a relaxed lunch break overlooking the wild ocean, followed by an unhurried swim in the iconic volcanic natural pools of Porto Moniz.
